Primary partners include: Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, Hospitals, and Public Health.
Additional partners include: Adult Care Homes, Community Health Centers, Dialysis Centers, Home Health, Hospice, Long Term Care Facilities, Pharmacies, and anyone with an interest in the Healthcare System.
HPP works closely with North Carolina Emergency Management for resource requests. If you have the ability to request an asset via WebEOC, you should enter your request there. If you do not have WebEOC access, work with your local Emergency Manager to submit the request.
The Healthcare Preparedness Program is fully grant funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR).
HPP works very closely with other federally grant funded State programs, such as NC Emergency Management (Homeland Security EMPG Grant) and the Division of Public Health (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention PHEP Grant).
