FUNDING OPPORTUNITY: Mobile Integrated Health RFA

NCOEMS is now accepting applications from EMS agencies for grant funding to expand mobile integrated health (MIH) and community paramedicine (CP) programs in rural communities across North Carolina. This funding opportunity is part of the Rural Health Transformation Program and supports a five-year initiative to:

  • Increase access to behavioral health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment
  • Strengthen behavioral health crisis response
  • Improve continuity of care and patient linkage to ongoing behavioral health treatment following EMS referrals
  • Expand EMS workforce development and training opportunities

Applications are due May 20, 2026.
