Hurricane Resources

Now is the time to plan!  The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 1, but that does not mean that we should not be preparing for a storm at any time!  Nor’easters and other winter time low pressure systems can bring flooding, winds, and rains just as hurricanes can!  The winter time is the best time to ensure that your hurricane and adverse weather plans and kits are stocked and ready!  See the additional resources link below for helpful hints and information for your preparedness activities.

Be sure to monitor ReadyNC.gov for the most current information.
