Healthcare Preparedness Program Overview

The North Carolina Healthcare Preparedness Program is divided into functional units with unique responsibilities. It is through the teamwork and collaboration of these units that the Healthcare Preparedness Program is able to achieve its goals and mission.

The Operations Section consist of Information Systems, Preparedness Unit (Plans, Training, and Exercise), and the Response Unit.

The Communication Unit is responsible for establishing and maintaining a statewide emergency medical services communication system.

The Business Office is responsible for administration and management of the ASPR grant.
